X|8 Bootcamp Sessions
Looking for a program that gets great results fast? Try Bootcamp! X|8 Bootcamp was designed specifically for CrossFit in the D. At its core, the X|8 Bootcamp workout will produce increased muscle endurance, strength, power, and if desired, tremendous weight loss. Our X|8 Bootcamp classes are held in a supportive group setting.
Each training session is comprised of a coach-led, high-energy, high-intensity, interval running, rowing and functional weight/resistance training. Our X|8 Bootcamp is specifically designed for everyone, from beginners to high-performance athletes and is open to all adults and teens, ages 16 and older. All fitness levels are welcome.
How is Bootcamp different than CrossFit?
In Detroit, Bootcamp participants can enjoy a fun, high-intensity, community-based Metabolic Conditioning training, without the complexity of gymnastics and Olympic lifting that is incorporated into CrossFit. We established this hybrid program early in 2015 and by 2016 our classes have been full of energized people. Some participants stay with this program and are very successful with their fitness goals while others move up to the challenge of CrossFit.
X|8 Olympic Lifting Classes
Olympic lifting is one of the "mainstays" of what makes CrossFit so successful. It's called "Olympic" Lifting because it is the only form of lifting performed in the Olympics. Olympic lifting is beneficial to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Olympic lifting is great way to strengthen and develop the body's joints, as well as improve athletic performance in sprinting, vertical jumping, and any other explosive maneuver.
By strengthening the core of your body, you'll gain more control over balance and movements. This, in turn, improves your ability to perform other movements better and lift heavier weight. Olympic Lifting is one of the few exercises that works your entire body, moving weights farther and faster than traditional workouts.

Allen Park Personal Fitness Training Classes
At CrossFit in the D you have the option to train one-on-one with a personal coach or split the time with a friend. Sessions can be 30-min or 60-min depending on your needs. Whatever your fitness goals are, we want you to be successful. Whether you come in before or after work, or on your lunch break, our Personal Fitness Coaches we will work with you and your schedule to keep you focused and on track.
Private One-On-One Training
If you are new to CrossFit, or just getting back into shape, we will get you started with a free personal training session. We'll assess your fitness and skill level and develop a program to help you reach your fitness goals. We may recommend a regular session with a Personal Fitness Coach to help keep you focused and ensure you are getting the most from the programs offered at CrossFit in the D.
If your goal is to run a marathon, beat your PR, or lose excessive weight, you may choose to work with a personal coach 2-3 times per week. All of our coaches are CrossFit certified with unique personal fitness experience. We will match you with the coach who can develop a program best suited to help you reach your goal.
Working out with a partner is a great way for both of you to stay committed and motivated. We find that people who train with a friend or significant other hold each other more accountable and are more committed to reaching their fitness goals. CrossFit in the D offers our members the opportunity for partners to work with a personal trainer and split the cost. You'll get the same great information and guidance in your journeys, just shared with a friend.
