X|8 Bootcamp was designed specifically for CrossFit in the D. At its core, the X|8 Bootcamp workout will produce increased muscle endurance, strength, power, and if desired, tremendous weight loss.
What to Expect in an Xl8 Bootcamp Session
Our X|8 Bootcamp training session is comprised of a coach-led, high-energy, high-intensity, interval running, rowing and functional weight/resistance training. Classes are held in a supportive group setting. Each class features a series of stations that highlight different movements. All fitness levels are welcome. Our X|8 Bootcamp is specifically designed for everyone, from beginners to high performance athletes and is open to all adults and teens, ages 16 and older. Come in and see what it’s all about!
How is Bootcamp different than CrossFit?
In Detroit, Bootcamp participants can enjoy a fun, high-intensity, community-based Metabolic Conditioning training, without the complexity of gymnastics and Olympic lifting that is incorporated into CrossFit. We established this hybrid program early in 2015 and by 2016 our classes have been full of energized people. Some participants stay with this program and are very successful with their fitness goals while others move up to the challenge of CrossFit.
Who Benefits from Bootcamp?
The science shows that maximum results are achieved by working at relatively high intensity. Results come faster and are more significant than typical low-intensity training like jogging, elliptical training, and machine based circuit weight training. If you want to jump start your metabolism, lose weight, increase endurance or stamina, this is the fitness training for you. Bootcamp classes are great for corporate fitness programs, complement distance training, and motivate couch potatoes to be active.
